Medication management is an ongoing conversation about whether medication may help with your mental health concerns and how it fits into your care. It includes discussing your symptoms, health history, current medications, preferences, and treatment goals.
When medication is part of your plan, follow-up appointments provide time to talk about how you are feeling, benefits, side effects, and questions. Decisions are individualized and made together with your provider.
